Sushobhan, an ailing man in his eighties, leads a quiet life ruled by routine in Kolkata. He used to be a brilliant history professor, but is now increasingly suffering from age-related health problems. This includes dementia which makes him forget his immediate past. Often he is silent, sometimes irritable and fretful.
His son Aryanil lives in the USA and does not visit him often. When they meet, their respective fears collide. The few days they spend together are eventful and momentous – for both of them.
