An avid lover of arts and cinema in particular, Swati Pandey brings with her many years of administrative, broad based interface communication and outreach expertise, having served Indian Postal Department and Department of Atomic Energy, the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India and Department of Forest, Maharashtra and now Films Division as Director Administration and CFSI as its Chief Executive Officer.
An IPoS officer of 1997 batch, Swati Pandey holds an MBA in HR and Rural development, Masters in Anthropology and Diploma in French. She has in-depth knowledge of working with ground agencies in rural areas and is recipient of awards and appreciation, Home Affairs, Government of India and Department of Forests, Maharashtra for her public outreach initiatives and liaisoning for production and promotion of documentary films.
Swati Pandey has been responsible for streamlining the administration, human resources and production of films in Films Division in a short period of time. As CEO of CFSI, she is instrumental in popularizing the children’s films by ensuring inclusive participation of various stake holders nation-wide and has been rejuvenating the field units in reaching out to youth and children in mofussil areas through the medium of children’s films. A travel freak who is known for making friends in nook and corner of the world, she is credited with infusing freshness and enthusiasm in her work place. Also, her main focus is to take CFSI films to the rural hinterland and conducting movie making workshops among children thereby, igniting the passion of movie making in many a young heart.
